Since 1976, the Sundre West Country Centre; once known as the Sunshine Club, has been a multi-purpose, community centre or 'gathering place' for Sundre and area adults aged 50+ to socialize and engage in healthy activities.

MISSION: To enhance the community’s quality of life by providing residents 50+ with a wide range of recreational and social activities that are both unifying and empowering.

With great services, activities and programs, West Country Centre members are actively finding new ways to engage and participate.

For many years, we have been making an impact on the lives of members in the community through our wide range of enriching programs and events. What started off as a big idea in a small space, has grown to be the hub for recreational enrichment.​
